Energy Project Manager (Construction)

Location – Denver Hybrid

As an Energy Project Manager within our growing team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks related to our projects. You will manage the on-site project team. Success in this position requires a dynamic individual with high energy, motivation, and an acute passion for implementing sustainable energy solutions for the next generation of buildings and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide oversight for Associate Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractor personnel
• Oversee implementation of a comprehensive set of Energy Conservation Measures
• Manage client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
• Prepare and manage project schedules
• Manage bid processes and subcontract negotiations
• Review and approve expenditures and subcontractor draw requests

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, specifically in engineering or construction management
• 5+ years of relevant experience in construction project management or project engineering
• Experience with building construction and energy systems, including HVAC, controls, site work, central utilities, electrical, and M&P
• Experience in energy systems project implementation, including performance contracts, is preferred
• Experience working with construction, construction management, or on-site fieldwork is preferred
• Ability to provide project management to a team of superintendents and subcontractors
• Demonstrated ability to function in high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams that provide reliable customer satisfaction
• A passion in the areas of energy efficiency, alternative energy, and sustainability
