Our client is a premier mechanical contractor that has been operating for over 75 years. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team at our Fresno branch office. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that all contracted work is executed in accordance with company policies and the design intent. They oversee contract documents, budgets, schedules, safety, quality control, and customer satisfaction. The right candidate will be organized, successful at building relationships, and comfortable working independently.
Talent goals for this role:
- Two-ten years of experience as a construction project manager
- Experience developing project specific budgets and schedules
- Ability to interpret plans and specifications
- Knowledge of construction means and methods
- Experience with managing and directing subcontractors and vendors
- Familiarity with construction procurement processes and documents
- Ability to negotiate and track change orders with owners and subcontractors
Responsibilities:
- Lead the project team in all phases of the construction lifecycle
- Report regularly on progress to the client and stakeholders
- Travel to construction jobsites to meet with project teams and perform onsite assessments
- Negotiate with subcontractors/vendors and issue procurement documents
- Collaborate with the design team on resolving design conflicts
- Develop project schedules and maintain target completion dates
