Client is a is a full-service facility planning, design, and energy management company dedicated to creating healthy, efficient work environments. Our team provides deep knowledge and experience in all aspects of facility planning from the building envelope to renewable energy technologies.

The commercial sales organization is 100% B2B, selling complex, multi‑solution offerings including: – LED lighting retrofits – EV charging infrastructure – solar and distributed renewables – battery storage, Energy as a Service and Microgrids primarily on an enterprise/national account basis. Sales success depends on classic consultative selling methodologies, long sales cycles and multi‑stakeholder buying groups.

Reporting directly to the Business Unit President, the Vice President of Commercial Sales will inherit a high-performing sales team and be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen client relationships across national commercial markets.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and scale the Commercial Markets sales organization.
  • Drive revenue growth from to $100M
  • Establish strong performance management system, individual and team coaching, and ensure accountability across the sales team.
  • Partner closely with marketing on demand generation and pipeline creation.
  • Design and manage sales compensation and incentive plans that optimize cost of sales while driving performance.
  • Own forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting cadence suitable for a PE‑backed environment
  • Provide short‑ and long‑range sales planning, competitive analysis, and market insight to executive leadership.

Experience:

  • MUST have experience in either Solar, Lighting or EV Infrastructure sales
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Ability to educate and provide customers with comprehensive energy solutions.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills including at the Corporate Board level.
  • Employment is contingent on successful background and drug screen.
