Client is one of the world’s largest direct sellers of energy and other essential services, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.  They have global operations in 26 countries and have been rapidly growing since being founded over 30 years ago.

Position Scope: Reporting directly to the COO and located in Charlotte, the Sr. Strategic Account Manager plays a critical role in the development, growth and retention of external partner relationships. You will work with our energy partners to drive business goals and objectives.  Specific areas of focus include energy product enhancements, product launch management, product marketing management, process optimization, energy market research analysis and end user support. 

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact relating to overall energy accounts, new opportunities and escalations.
  • Research/analyze current energy industry trends to identify new product enhancement opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners, working directly with partners and vendors is critical.
  • Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide clear direction to support the energy team’s business goals.
  • Product management/ownership ensuring product is performing by analyzing detailed financial data with finance department and unpacking results of the financial analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze key business indicators and ensures accurate and timely delivery of data.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • MUST HAVE energy-related experience
  • MUST reside in Charlotte, relocation package offered
  • Product management experience in the energy Industry
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Financial Data analysis in the energy space with advances Excel skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/partners simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • An ability to address issues in a timely manner while identifying root cause
  • Strong/advanced analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Knowledge of energy marketing and its relationship to product management
  • Experience as a Strategic Account Manager or Key Account Manager
