Senior Project Developer (Energy Infrastructure/EaaS)

Remote – Philly/NY/NJ

Client is a high-growth, full-service energy efficiency company focused on the commercial and industrial markets as well as the public sector vertical. We design, finance, and implement decarbonization projects/programs for buildings which combine energy retrofits, infrastructure upgrades, and distributed energy generation with ongoing utility management, maintenance, and building monitoring/control services.

Scope: Serves as the technical authority in one or more engineering disciplines, providing leadership across project development development, innovation, and major pursuits. Supports strategic accounts and ensures alignment of technical standards across the engineering portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide portfolio-wide technical oversight and subject matter leadership

• Lead strategic solution development and complex technical modeling

• Support executive client engagement and proposal strategy

• Develop and maintain engineering standards and best practices

• Mentor senior developers and engineers to build organizational capability

Core Competencies

• ASHRAE audits/client-facing/manage 3^rd party engineers/develop project budgets

• Deep technical expertise in HVAC, automation & controls, renewables, or MEP systems

• Leadership in innovation, risk assessment, and design strategy

• Portfolio-level performance accountability

• Executive-level communication and client influence

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

• Successful experience in ESCO, performance contracting, or energy infrastructure sectors

• Proven ability to drive alignment around client and performance outcomes
