Position Summary
The Senior Account Executive is a senior-level, experienced hunter role responsible for aggressively expanding Client Energy Services’ footprint across Northern California. This position is laser-focused on new customer acquisition, market penetration, and revenue growth with a strong emphasis on the Public Sector, through the pursuit and closure of complex energy services and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own new business development for Northern California with clear accountability for bookings and revenue growth
- Aggressively identify, pursue, and close new client opportunities across public (and private) sector markets
- Develop and execute a disciplined hunting strategy including prospecting, cold outreach, partner leveraging, and executive-level networking
- Drive long-cycle, consultative sales processes from first meeting through contract signature and maintain relationships through project construction
Consultative Solution Development
- Conduct discovery to understand client goals related to energy savings, sustainability, resiliency, and infrastructure improvement
- Collaborate with project development to develop tailored solutions
- Lead proposal strategy, pricing development, and value articulation
Required
- Experience as a performing hunter in complex, consultative B2B sales
- Demonstrated success opening new markets or territories and closing large, sophisticated deals
- High level of financial, technical, and commercial acumen
- Employment contingent on passing background check and drug screen
