Site Acquisition Manager – Solar
Rhode Island Remote
Client is a private investment firm dedicated to renewable energy assets, driving innovation, and championing the global energy transition. A recent $200M capital raise is leading this critical hire.
We are recruiting a Site Acquisition Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding the Rhode Island portfolio of solar, battery storage, and fuel cell projects by originating, negotiating, and closing lease agreements with commercial and industrial (C&I) clients.
The ideal candidate will bring proven Rhode Island experience in establishing and managing relationships with C&I clients; an understanding of the commercial real estate space and project origination experience.
Responsibilities:
- Origination Strategy: Generate and pursue filtered leads.
- Lead Development: Develop outreach strategy for the leads and attend virtual and in-person consultation appointments with prospective C&I clients.
- Account Management: Assess clients’ goals and needs and develop proposals, present solutions, answer questions, and address concerns.
- Sales Execution: Present, explain, negotiate, and close lease agreements with clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the finance and engineering teams to build/price different solution options.
- Leadership: This position may exercise supervisory responsibility over one or more employees within the Sales/Project department, as it expands.
Qualifications:
- MUST have experience/relationships in the Rhode Island C&I markets.
- Understanding of commercial real estate.
- Experience with projects and deal origination with a demonstrable track record of closed deals.
- Ability to analyze, summarize, and communicate complex technical and financial information.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office Suite and CRM systems.
