Sales Manager, Public Housing – Energy Management

Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Public Housing, the Sales Manager will lead and grow a national sales team dedicated to selling energy management projects into the Public Housing vertical market. Responsible for analyzing market opportunities and plans, forecasts and delivering consistent long-term profitable growth. Preferred understanding of Section 9 and Section 8 housing, compliance and funding. Infrequently negotiates to reach agreement on complete proposals and programs primarily with external parties.
Requirements:
- MUST have sales leadership experience.
- MUST have experience in the energy management markets.
- Progressive sales experience at the C-level.
- Excellent initiative, and interpersonal communications skills.
- Manages at least three team members; leads, schedules, allocates and monitors work.
- Experience with Public Housing Performance Contracting, HUD programs, LIHTC, and basic understanding of RAD.
- Up to 50% travel.
