Sales Manager – Central Region
Regional Sales Manager – Energy Efficiency
Location: Remote Central Region
Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Manager is responsible for building, leading and managing a team that consistently and safely delivers projects to meet the customer’s expectations, schedules, quality standard, financial targets and all compliance regulations.
Position Scope:
- Being accountable for achieving or exceeding the Business Unit sales goal in partnership with the Business Unit Manager
- Providing direct leadership, management and coaching to the BU sales team (Account Executives) and ensures that individual performance is actively managed in accordance to clients practices at all levels within the team
- Developing a sales team (Account Executive) staffing plan and the talent acquisition functions for optimal hiring and retention
- Coordinating resources to ensure stable sales results, including lead generation and pipeline development
- Collaborating with the Business Unit Manager and Marketing team to establish and control budgets for marketing collateral, outreach programs and trade show expenses.
- Collaborating with other Business Unit sales teams
- Working with a cross-functional team consisting of finance, operations, engineering and marketing to secure new business and influence Business Unit and Company strategy
- Developing and taking ownership of market growth plans, including vertical market targeting and horizontal offering strategies as well as expansion into new geographical territories
The core components of success are (i.e. must haves):
- Successfully experience executing sales and/or marketing strategies for an HVAC controls contractor, mechanical contractor, energy services company or a related organization
- Active Driver’s License/background check
