As one of the largest energy services companies in the North America, client utilizes design-build and performance-based contracting vehicles to deliver energy and maintenance savings and significant infrastructure upgrades to existing facilities.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, we are recruiting a Regional Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with VP of Sales to develop regional sales plans, sales and marketing strategies supporting the Western region (CA/AZ/NV/OR).
  • Lead and own the sales effort and goals of the Regional Sales Team.
  • Manage, lead, and provide mentoring/coaching to Account executives.
  • Provide leadership to Account Executives.
  • Review and approve project development budgets.
  • Lead sales staff in closing orders and developing new leads.
  • Develop and implement a strategy to achieve budgeted staffing, continual personnel performance improvement, coaching and training.
  • Provide ongoing and regular feedback to company management and internal sales support relevant to key account opportunities.

Experience:

  • Prior sales leadership experience – hiring, training, developing a sales team.
  • Successful direct sales and marketing of energy, solutions-based services, and/or financial services to primarily clients in the MUSH public sector (K-12/higher ed/state & local government) markets.
  • Experience selling a complex/financial solution.
  • Demonstrated C-Suite sales experience required.
  • Sales management experience required.
