Client is one of the largest and well-respected energy services companies…masterful in design-build and performance-based contracting and P3 vehicles to deliver energy and maintenance savings to existing facilities. They also provide build, own, operate and maintain services for central heating, cooling and power-generation systems. World-class leadership and exceptional compensation plan.
The Senior Project Developer will oversee a portfolio of projects in all phases – sales support, development, implementation and service
The primary areas of responsibility of a PDE are as follows:
- Technical/financial support of sales activities
- Financial modeling of Energy Performance Contracts
- Proposal writing and review/QC
- Management and coordination of proposal team
Qualifications:
- Experience in the energy engineering field, preferably in the ESCO business
- Federal Performance contracting experience is a plus
- Experience in the project development function
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in an engineering or technical discipline
- MBA, PE, and CEM are not required but are considered a plus
- Expertise in renewable technologies, CHP, microgrid and other resiliency solutions is a plus
- Very proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Strong technical writing skills
- Sales aptitude/business acumen
- General engineering knowledge of HVAC, lighting & lighting controls, and building envelope
