Position Summary: The Sales Representative is responsible for targeting and securing project agreements with energy service companies (ESCOs) across the Western US. This position will report to a Sales Director who has established ESCO customers in the region. The Sales Representative will support the Sales Director with existing customers as needed and will increasingly lead the development activities with new ESCO prospects. The position requires an understanding of key financial and technical concepts to communicate attractive solutions with buyer groups.
Must have technical sales experience, preferably in lighting, energy efficiency or mechanical HVAC/control systems.
- Support Sales Director with existing customers
- Prospect for new customers
- Identify and qualify project opportunities with new prospects
- Leading preparation and delivery of proposal
- Monitoring project implementation and project close out phases
- Adhering to internal territory planning and administrative tasks
