Client is a full-service specialty finance company, providing project development and financing services for energy and water efficiency retrofit projects for commercial, industrial and institutional facilities.
We are looking for a unique corporate athlete…a player/coach who can both prospect/close deals as an individual contributor AND hire/manage/expand a sales team as a leader.
This position has the dual responsibility of overseeing the expansion of the business development team while actively generating sales of new projects. This individual will recruit channel partners as well as generate increased volume from the company’s existing energy services company (ESCO) and contractor partners. The individual will implement and oversee targeted direct sales efforts to multi-site industrial, commercial and institutional customers.
The successful candidate will have a successful record of exceeding business development targets in the energy efficiency, renewable energy, retail energy or other relevant industries. The position calls for an individual who can thrive in a results and performance-based start-up.
The individual’s responsibilities will include:
- Player – Assist closing energy and water efficiency deals
- Coach – Expand/develop/manage sales team
Experience & Qualifications
The individual’s qualifications are expected to include proven success selling complex products and exceeding business development targets. A demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with channel partners, customers and other key market participants is a must.
