Remote Location – Northern California

Summary: Reporting to the Operations Team Leader, the Project Manager leads project teams to develop, design, and implement energy efficiency improvement and renewable generation projects for public sector clients in Northern California region.

Client is a leader in providing Energy Solutions to the public sector (MUSH) education, state/local government to implement efficiency and sustainable energy solutions that save money, improve assets, and protect the environment.

Program Development:

  • Manage teams of Engineers and Construction Managers to investigate, develop and implement energy-related customer improvements
  • Actively manage the project team through regular team meetings to discuss and document and project updates
  • Support Business Development in customer interactions
  • Qualify vendors and subcontractors and source materials

Project Implementation

  • Prepare and negotiate all project contracts and change orders
  • Manage all technical and contracting aspects of the project
  • Execute budgets, revenue and expense invoices
  • Work with Construction Managers to establish a project schedule with adequate milestones
  • Serve as the customer’s primary contact

Requirements

  • The proven ability to manage a team
  • Proficiency in energy engineering design, customer and subcontractor negotiation, budget creation and management, project scheduling and reporting skills

Education/Experience

  • Required – Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of energy efficiency Project Management experience
